There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the season and parents are encouraged to be involved and engaged!! Volunteer roles include game day scorekeeping, game day photography, banquet helpers, parent social planners, team communications and more! Check out the Sign-up Link below
JAGLAX GIRLS PARENT VOLUNTEER POSITION SUMMARY
Below is a list of some of the main volunteer opportunities that are listed in the Sign-Up Genius:
TEAM REP/COMMUNICATORS
DURING THE SEASON -- Email, call, text, etc. to team, be liaison between parents/team/coaches for communications
Number required: 2 total
One for Varsity and one for combined JV/B Squad
TEAM PHOTOGRAPHERS
DURING THE SEASON -- Take pictures of team during games and events, post pictures to Shutterfly
Number required: 2 total
One for Varsity and one for combined JV/B Squad
GAME TABLE VOLUNTEERS (SCOREKEEPING AND TIMEKEEPING)
ON SPECIFIC DATES -- Be a scorekeeper or timekeeper at game table at home games
Number required: 2 per home game
JV and B Squad games
PASTA PARTY HOST
YOU & HELPERS DETERMINE DATES-- Host a pasta party for team in your home or set up at a public place
Number required: 1 each party
Three parties each, Varsity and combined JV/B Squad
PASTA PARTY HELPER
YOU & HOST DETERMINE DATE -- Help with pasta party for team
Number required: 3 each party

PARENT SOCIAL PARTY HOST
YOU DETERMINE DATE -- Host a social party for the parents on team (they can bring food/drinks and assist in any way)
Number required: 1 host per team

SENIOR NIGHT
USUALLY LATE MAY -- Plan and carry out special presentations to seniors (interview and game day gift) and parents (flowers) during last home game with treats (cupcakes/cake and drinks) following game

YEARBOOK
Throughout Season-- Work with team photographers to secure photos e to make yearbook to be distributed at banquet
Number required: 1 per team

YEAR-END BANQUET--LEAD
Event space and caterer are reserved for Monday, June 12; coordinate with the caterer; plan/shop for decorations, plan/shop for gifts for coaches, get space ready for event, all with assistance of helpers.
